THE STARTING POINT
Build on what already works.
Suffolk County House Buyers serves homeowners in Suffolk County and across Long Island. Its website already had local search visibility, and growth was underway before Data Point Marketing took over SEO in April 2026.
Our job was to improve that established website. We concentrated on two connected workstreams: targeted improvements to existing content and stronger links into the site.
THE WORK
Focused content. Stronger links.
Optimize the existing content
We made targeted content adjustments on the website, building on the pages and search presence already in place. The goal was clearer, more useful content for homeowners searching for a local house buyer.
Strengthen the website’s links
We paired the content work with stronger link building into the site. These workstreams were designed to support the website’s visibility in a competitive local market.
Ranking reviews helped us evaluate visibility as the engagement progressed. The results below show the overall trend; they do not attribute a specific gain to an individual edit or link.
THE TRAFFIC TREND
207 to 512 in Semrush’s monthly traffic estimate.
Search conditions, earlier work, competitors and changes in Semrush’s database can also affect this trend. The data does not isolate DPM’s contribution or establish a matching increase in leads, closed deals or revenue.
SEPTEMBER RANKING CHECK
Visibility on searches sellers actually use.
The supplied September 17, 2026 US Positions export contains 66 distinct keywords in standard organic positions 1–3. That count excludes AI Overviews, Maps and knowledge panels. Representative seller-intent searches include:
| Search query | Organic position |
|---|---|
| we buy houses long island | #1 |
| sell my house fast suffolk | #1 |
| cash home buyers in long island | #1 |
| sell my house long island | #2 |
| cash home buyers long island | #2 |
| sell my house fast long island ny | #3 |
Individual keyword observation dates vary. These are dated export results, not live local rankings or verified before-and-after changes. The 66-keyword count includes branded and nonbranded searches and is separate from the DPM-reported August historical count.
Important existing pages deserve attention.
The homepage and Long Island page account for 58 of those 66 top-three keywords: 19 on the homepage and 39 on the Long Island page. That concentration highlights the value of evaluating core service and location pages. It does not prove which changes caused their rankings.
